Handsome Jack welcomes you back to Pandora by obliterating every bit of life out of you but why is the New-U stations, owned by his company, still activated when he wants you out of Pandora. Maybe he enjoys watching you getting killed over and over again, and making a buck likewise. Nah as if the game takes itself seriously, they simply put a lot of nonsensical stuff in it but this is where the game shines, makes it so fun, alive and unique. Varied character personality and witty dialogue even with the usual enemies grants you laughter while shooting them straight in the face, I sometimes reckon if I'm more of a lunatic than these guys — this is the first game that makes me question my mentality.
Guns, guns, and guns (and a little bit of shields from time to time) this is what defines Borderlands 2, and also a lot of GUNS. If I recall correctly, weapon attributes and traits in Borderlands are generated randomly so it means you have a high probability that you're equipment is unique just like everybody else playing the game. I'm currently on my first playthrough with my Ignacio, a Gunzerker with dual magnum; Fire as fast as you can pull the trigger (or click the mouse). The game is quite big compared with the original and still has the insane amount of loots and challenges to keep you playing for a few weeks at least. And it's still a pleasure finding scattered ECHO devices and listening to those comical recordings.
I'm a bit disappointed that head explosions, amputations and whatnot were toned down, just a minor negative but it could still add to the comical nature of the game.Hoping there would be a patch or mod to fix this. I'm playing on PC with high settings except for AO and Physx, Physx is cool but it drops my fps and I find it a bit exaggerated in firefights though clothing and water effects are excellent.
