What's with China and dogs anyways — first this and now Sleeping Dogs which is set in Hong Kong and also involves the underground society. Dog Days came out 2 years ago and received mixed reviews, most of which were addressing the game's visual style as nauseating.
Personally, I find it very neat (no pun intended) and unique, and really fits the gritty tone of the game if you can overcome the game's loose camera movement; Which you can easily set off at the options, but it actually defeats the game's intention of having an amateur-like recording. Another thing that was criticize was the short campaign but I find it more than enough and is somewhat getting weary near the end, also a little repetitive and the level design is extremely unjust. Even with those negatives mentioned Dog Days is still enjoyable, to say the least.
One thing Dog Days totally succeeds in, is taking insanely impressive still shots.
