Started playing Kirby's Epic Yarn yesterday. All images are from various areas of World 1 aka Grass Land.

One day, while walking through Dream Land, Kirby spots what seems to be an odd looking Maxim Tomato and decides to eat it. However, the "Maxim Tomato" belonged to an evil wizard named Yin-Yarn who becomes angry at Kirby and sucks him into Patch Land, where everything, including himself, is made of yarn. Upon arriving in this strange world, Kirby saves a young prince named Fluff from an enemy. After Prince Fluff explains Yin-Yarn's evil plans, Kirby agrees to help him.

Kirby's Epic Yarn is artistically beautiful, it uses a unique yarn-like visuals, but the game is somewhat targeted to younger audience. The story is kinda like a bedtime tale and is told through narration, the narrator's voice depends on the game's region; a girl if Japan, a boy on the US version. I'm leaning more on the Japanese version simply because of the narrator's voice, she certainly knows how to make a man sleep =D

Gameplay is on the easy side, you can't die in this game; When falling on a pit or an enemy hits Kirby, you'll only drop the beads/gems you've collected. It looks like Nintendo borrowed something from Sega ;p. Screenshots taken from Dolphin emu with DX9 plugin and 1920x1080 res, who says Wii can't do HD, lol! Emulation isn't perfect, FPS drops on certain areas but still playable.
