While I was browsing for replacements I bumped into a forum post where the OP claims that he resurrected his dead video card by putting it in a aluminum foil and heating it in an oven for a specific time. Yep sounds like a recipe for a baked potato and a very insane thing to do. But there is nothing to lose right? and my card is dead anyways so I followed his tutorial. After a while I put the card back on, not getting my hopes up I booted my PC and voila! it detected my card, no more random characters or freezes. My broken video card was resurrected, no kidding. I still can't believe this baking works, so awesome. Still don't know how long it will last but I'm very thankful.
Anyway I was planning to redesign my blog, its getting a tad old and wonky but I can't seem to find the right time as I am always tired after doing school work. I also tried shifting to Wordpress, unfortunately there isn't an option to edit your template's CSS. Well technically there is, you just have to shove some cash for it which I don't intend to ever do considering that it's free on blogger. I'm sure it's also free before, until they turned into a floozy fat cat. I'm also aiming to buy a domain but you know, I'm broke, always is. Though I'm still accepting donations, always was ( ̄ー ̄)
Btw, here is the oven trick thread and video. Also check out this great song (not related).
